Though we are a bit late on this, we wanna wish all well meaning New Afrikans a positive and powerful Black August. A cursory study of New Afrikans history will show that for some reason many historical and revolutionary events happened in relation to the New Afrikans collective during the Gregorian month of August. Interestingly enough, Black August was founded by incarcerated Afrikans who were vehemently protesting the prison conditions they found themselves in California prisons. Therefore, in celebrating Black August we also honor their memory and the spirit of Black Nationalism itself!
